All our goods are vintage items so may be over a hundred years old. Therefore they will show signs of wear and tear. We always endeavour to show you all the details on the photos however if an item has specific damage that we feel will detract from its use we will put this in the description.
Does the lighting work?
Some of our lighting has been rewired and some has not. Where the lighting needs rewiring we will always advise and the goods will arrive with a big red tag on advising you that the item must be rewired.
Can you get goods to order?
If you can’t see what you are looking for we can try and find it for you, we make many trips hunting for new stock so if we know you are looking for something in particular we will hunt even harder just contact us and let us know.
Are the goods restored?
Some items are fully restored and other are just cleaned and left in there aged stage. A lot of the items we find are attractive because of the chipped paintwork and the lovely surface wood has through decade of cleaning and polishing, we will endeavour to show as much detail in the photos and description as possible but if you have a question please contact us.
What if I don’t like what I receive?
We always hope that you will be delighted with your purchase from The Vintage Barn however if the goods just don’t suit your purpose they can be returned for a full refund. Return postage will be at the expense of the buyer unless the goods arrive damaged. Please see our delivery and returns policy for full details.
